4I Am In Love With This!!!
By Avid Camper
I am in love with this hot water pot! Debated long and hard before ordering, but so far, it's worth every penny! It's so much easier and faster than boiling water on the stove or in the micro. Originally, thought we would use it just for tea, but have found the instant very hot water to be useful for so many other things, both cooking and cleaning. First, ordered the 4L size, but upon arrival, immediately realized we should have ordered the 5L size, as we thought of so many more uses. Returned for the 5L size and are happy we did. We especially like the fact that we have plenty of hot water for pre-warming thermoses in the morning, as well as making large amounts of tea to fill them. Works much better than anything else we've tried. This unit is very easy to use, keeps water within a couple of degrees of the selected temperature (208, 195 or 175 degrees F.), heats fairly quickly and seems very well designed and made. A pleasant surprise for us was the color of this unit. It is BISQUE, not white or white grey, as stated, so it blends well with ivory/bisque and looks okay with white. The electronic control panel is a pearlescent bisque color, kind of pretty, not as plain as we thought it would be. We now leave it on all day. Only negatives, so far, is the 7 hour timer, which usually, isn't right for our schedule, so we just plug it into a different timer to overcome this obstacle and the quirky magnetic plug, which sometimes would unexpectedly disengage. We solved that problem by feeding the cord through the folded down handle before plugging in. One other thing, the 5L size is taller, making it easier to fill taller thermos' and carafes right from the dispenser. But the 4L size would probably be okay for most people. It's nice being able to have a cup of tea at a moments notice, we wish we had bought this sooner!

5This thing is great!
By Ali
Living at 9,000 feet, I love that I can select a temperature below 212 degrees. It is easy to maintain. The only bummer is how long it takes to heat up (around 40 minutes), but if you don't mind planning ahead, it is fine.

5We love it!
By Beth M.
We love our Zojirushi! I'd had my eye on it for some time and when the little bookstore we frequented was closing out it's section dedicated to fine teas and accessories, we got a super deal on it. Even if all we did was make tea with it, it would have been well worth it, but I use it when making coffee, oatmeal, soups, pasta or when I want to add a bit of water to a simmering dish without dropping it's temperature. It's just so much more convenient than boiling water on the stove or in the microwave. It's right there and ready whenever I need it.

5Natvie glasses are awesome
By NmbrdDays
Native glasses are the best. Lifetime warranty on everything, even scratched lenses! I have a narrow face and finding glasses that fit me is difficult, but Native have a bunch of styles that are made for smaller faces. That is great for me. Plus every pair of glasses that they make has polarized lenses. Which is great if you plan on using these glasses for anything outdoors. I am a huge skiier and My natives come with me all the time. They are great cause the cut the glare out and they are light and can take some abuse. Plus if they break you send them back plus $30 and you get a new pair. I love these glasses and will continue to buy these over oakley and maui jim .

5More Bang for your Buck!
By Ted Ingram
I am a Native fan. I have been for a long time. By far my favorite pair is the Dash XP. They are extremely light, comfortable, and they do not slip even during high endurance outdoor activities. My idea of sports are different then most as I am a military guy. Where most folks worry about glasses slipping while running, I worry about them failing me while conducting combat operations. Since 2003 I have never had a problem.Although there is a glare issue from the inside, I generally have on a some kind of head protection which would block that effect. Overall far better than any product Oakley makes for the same price, and these have a lifetime warranty! Just save the Barcode!!

4Native Dash XP
By Matthew Quitmeyer
I bought these glasses for cycling and running. They work extremely well for road cycling. Did not fog up at all or slip off my nose. The cushinol nosepad works as advertised. The visual quality of the lenses is quite good (compared to my Maui Jims). The only negative I have to offer is that they don't have any anti glare to the inside of the lenses so you do get some reflection on the inside of the lenses. Can be a little distracting at times.Otherwise, I think they are very nice sunglasses.

5its perfect
By freakna
the cfp-90 is a great pack. larg size but compact enough so ur not getting stuck on trees. long side pocket has my tent/fishing pole and tarp. bottom hold has my 2 layer sleeping bag. devider wall can be removed if u rather strap ur sleeping gear and have more room inside. smaller side pockets r very roomy. bottom has my med kit/tackle box with room to spare. top has my base camp gmrs/sony psp/pocket pc & trasmitter. still room to spare. main hold has larg easy access pocket for books and maps. even after all that stuff. theres room for food. you cant beat military gear. one feature that i thought was odd, till one day. now its my fav. quick release shoulder strap. backback 150 pounds, mountain lion 200-300 pounds. 450 pounds on you back kinda sucks. so this is a great pack!

55 stars but not on this pack.
By John Phillips
I could not find a real CFP-90 GI issue pack on Amazon for review but I did find some on Ebay. So that's where I got mine. It has to have the US Gov care instruction patch sewn into it or it's not real. And there is no way I would pay $160 for a non US GI copy. I paid $80 with the extra patrol pack for mine on Ebay and it's the real deal so check around. I can't say anything negative about the fake china made one's but I can't say anything good either. I can just say I've heard bad things. If someone want's me to test one for free then I'll do that. But I can speak about the real thing. I'm sure Amazon has the real thing from time to time and this review is for you. Mine was listed as used but I could not find anything that showed it. It looked brand new inside and out. Mine has proven to be everything I need so far. It's plenty big enough, and has the potential to be bigger with the added patrol back. It's said it is water proof but I'll say it's water resistant. I haven't tested it yet in full on down poor though so I might be wrong. But it has a rubber like coating on the inside of it that helps with keeping the water out. If I find out it is water proof I'll update the post. It is everything I need in a pack and I don't think I'll ever need anything else. And it's a good bit cheaper than those high dollar packs you'll get in REI. I think it's tougher too, It may weigh more. But I'll take tough over light any day.

5Top-Tier Rucksack
By Stephen Purdy
I purchased a "very good" condition, government issue CFP-90, so that's all I can speak of. Aftermarket and altered versions of the ruck I cannot vouch for.I knew I wanted something military issue for camping and hiking, but the internal debate over which one to get kept me researching for a good week or so before choosing a pack. Having used both an "old school" Alice ruck through basic training and then issued a MOLLE II Rucksack, I had a tough time not going with something that I had previous experience with. I took a gamble on the CFP-90 and I'm pretty glad I did.Apparently the ruck was slated to be the replacement for the ALICE ruck, and was released and issued out in a few test trials, but then was surpassed when the MOLLE II was introduced. As such, the CFP-90 features the ALICE attachment system. Just about everything pouch-wise I have is MOLLE, but by skipping the first two loops, attaching and then tying the pouches off to the straps with cord I was able to jerry-rig my pouches securely. Without the tie-downs, the pouches were prone to popping off, but that's hardly an issue of the pack itself.Durable. I'm very happy with the overall "build" of the pack. Corner and edge seams are sturdy and reliable, and I don't have to worry about being too rough with it and hurting it's feelings. The straps are comfy enough, the padded back support is nice as well. The shoulder straps are held into a "duckfoot" that adjusts with screws to a sliding slot to either raise the pack's position on your back or lower it. Despite warnings to it's unreliability, I haven't had any issue with it so far. The internal frame is fantastic, and one of the biggest selling points to me, and I'm glad I went with it. Exposed parts are kept to a minimum, and it really feels solid. The lower section of the main pouch, for holding the four-piece sleep system and compression sack is plenty big enough to fit a fully compressed sack into, and I was even able to fit an extra towel in there. The pack overall isn't exactly the most waterproof thing in the world, then again it wasn't designed to be. It shields water adequately by itself, a little Camp Dry never hurt anything. My gripe with the ruck is the design of the built-in pouches to the sides. There are two on the left and one long, deep pouch on the right. Firstly, I'm not one-hundred percent sure what the reasoning was behind the long pouch. Filled with stuff, it makes "smart" packing impossible without just using it as a catch-all. Even then, it's difficult to find stuff in it. Maybe it was made for an old issue-style one person tent, or perhaps extra radio equipment, but for my uses and purposes it's an odd pouch that doesn't serve too much practical use.Secondly, the weird compression / loop and buckle system for closing the pouches seems overly complex and nowhere near secure enough. It's functional, and it works, but it's not for my tastes. Using the same buckles, a little thread and a needle and some time and effort, creating a simple buckle-closing system to replace it was nothing. Still, the initial system is... wonky at best. That all being said, I'm very happy with the pack and am glad I went this route. A little alteration and adjustment may be needed for some, but overall it's just a great pack that I'm quite pleased with. It'll hold up to abuse, it's easy to pack, adjust, assemble and wear, and once you get it set to your body type and in a comfortable position, it's just a comfortable and reliable piece of equipment. The attachable day pack is nothing really to write home about. It attaches easily and detaches just as easily, it made with the same craftsmanship as the main ruck itself. It doesn't hold everything I wanted it to as a detachable, sustainable pack, but it fits my son well. So, needless to say, he's got a new pack too. Bonus.Go for it, you likely won't be disappointing.

5Great Shades
By Sports Guy
I love these sunglasses. I previously had a pair of polarized Oakleys that I lost. I like these much better than the Oakleys. They are slimmer, less bulky, and also have interchangeable lenses. Mine came with the silver reflex, rose, and clear lenses. Changing them out is a cinch.I also love their warranty service. I scratched my lenses and was not sure if they were covered. In fact they are. Their service is online and easy to use. All I have to pay is a $30 processing charge which is better than the $60 lens kit.I highly recommend these sunglasses

5Great Buy
By katy7980
I've owned several Silencer sunglasses since I first came across this name brand in 2004. I have used them on two combat deployments and numerous rifle ranges. My first pair deflected hot brass from a rifle that had been fired next to me, resulting in a small scuff mark. Best of all, once you install a new pair of lenses they feel like a new set of sunglasses. Although the price for a pair of Silencers has risen since 2004, the quality, customer service, and included accessories still remain. Here a my thoughts on this pair of sunglasses.Pros:Inexpensive- Especially compared to Oakley'sIncluded Accessories- case/cleaning cloth, lens kitDurabilityStylish- Easily transition from sports activity to general wearVariety- Native offers a wide selection of colors to choose fromPolarizedCons:They do not accept prescriptionsSome may not like the low profileThe rubber pieces that secure the sunglasses to your head slip off in hot/humid climates. I've lost several of these pieces. If Native sold a replace kit I would buy it. Native does offer an alternative model that is all plastic.

5Perfect Replacement Excellent construction.
By Kimlee Bublitz
I love this new hose, I was using and taping up my old 24 year old hose for five years. Not only is it lighter weight but it now has a handle off and on switch. The metal ends have a nice thick plastic sleeve so the ends aren't sharp metal. Slides across the carpet smoother, I love it. Sorry I didn't make this replacement years ago. I Love Amazon for making so many products available.

5Nutone CH515 Central Vacuum Hose
By Clancy
Bought the Nudone CH515 hose to upgrade an old hose which was worn out. I find the new hose is far lighter in weight than old one. It did require also upgrading to a new telescoping wand and power brush both of which are great improvements over the old system I was upgrading. The new hose lets one control both the vac motor and the power brush from a switch on the handle--very convenient.

2Good but!
By Richard J. Kling
I purchased these glasses a little over a year ago. I thought they were pricey for what they are, but, they have a lifetime warranty. They fit great and are so light you don't know you have them on. The warranty is a joke. I just had one of the sidearm pivots break and contacted Native about warranty repair. The said I could purchase the parts on their internet site. Warranty? ????? If there was something that was covered it would cost $30 service fee plus cost of shipping. This does not include lenses so I am not sure what would be covered. Anyway I went online and the sidearms with sports band, that broke, is not available. I did not buy these on Amazon(should have). They cost me $129 which for what you get is ridiculous.

5Great for my face
By Brian Gouge
I don't think you could purchase sunglasses over the Internet, as there is no way to tell how they fit and match the shape of your face. Visit a mall kiosk or REI, try on all the Oakley's and Smith's and Native's and see what is comfortable and looks good actually on your face. Take a friend who isn't afraid to tell you how silly you look in Blue lenses or whatever. I took my wife :-)I can't recommend Polarized lenses enough. They make a huge difference and you can see things you otherwise wouldn't, like through the windshield of oncoming cars that without the lenses just look like reflected sky. But other than the extra spying on passers-by, it is all about minimizing the reflected glare that hits your eyes. My wife chose a pair of Oakley's because they were the most comfortable and she liked how they looked. Let me admit that when I put hers on, and compare the lenses to mine, that the Oakley polarized lenses are a little better quality. You'd never know without comparing side by side or if your eyesight isn't perfect (mine is 20/15). Also, cheap polarized lenses can actually show a horizontal-blind effect, so I'd stay away from cheapies unless you are always breaking or losing your sunglasses. That said, I've had Native Hardtop XP in Gunmetal with Polarized Silver Reflex lenses for over 2 years. If you need the taller lenses for your face, consider the XP. As far as I know, that's the only difference between the Hardtop and Hardtop XP. I had to spend some time bending the ear-ends of the sides outwards to make them not pinch my head so bad in that spot, but I have a larger head (X-Large motorcycle helmet size).Perhaps a year ago, the left ear-cushion started to loosen, and within a few months would actually stay on my ear when removing the sunglasses. I opted to fix it with a dab of Gorilla SuperGlue (the only brand of superglue I've ever found that doesn't dry up into a worthless tube of solid remains after a while - highly recommended FYI) rather than spend $30 for a warranty service for them. This week, something must have gotten set on top of them in the car because the hinge end of the same left side broke where the hinge-hole is, so now I have to do something. Again, rather than spend $30 on a warranty service I see that I can order a whole PAIR of replacement side pieces (including new ear-cushion things) for $25 plus $1.95 shipping, so in a few days I'll be back in business.I'm pretty careful with my sunglasses. I've owned about 5 pairs of Oakleys over the last 20 years, and I just didn't want to spend quite that much for Polarized lenses this time around. I expect these to last me another 3 or 4 years. If you want something that won't scratch you'll have to look for sunglasses without coatings on them, the Iridium and Reflex coatings that Oakley and Native use will scratch if you drop them or get hit with a sandy volleyball spinning just right. With these Native you also get 3 other sets of lenses, so you could switch to the non-coated when you know you're going into a rough and potentially scratchy environment, or use the Yellow "shooters" lenses, or the Clear lenses which are just for UV blocking and eye protection. In all these are a good value. You can find worse, you can find better, and you can always find someone who wonders why you spent more than $10 on a pair of sunglasses. That's fine, I don't see what anyone sees in a $300 pair of designer-brand ugly things either. To each their own, and again that's why you need to do a bit of foot work or borrow a friend's pair or something in order to narrow down your choices before buying online.Hope this helps someone!Update: July 2010After nearly 4 years, I finally rubbed my lenses after they got splashed, rubbing them what I thought was carefully on my shirt (maybe the shirt was sandy or dusty?), and the Reflex coating rubbed off pretty badly in the center of both lenses. After washing them and polishing them thoroughly with a soft cloth, they don't really effect my vision (I assume I "smoothed out" the edges of the missing spots by polishing them) but anyone looking at them can easily notice the center shiny parts all rubbed away, so these are now "junk" lenses I'd put in the frames before I went somewhere I expect to get them abused. I'll experiment with rubbing the rest of the coating off without scratching the actual lenses so I still have a polarized lens set that doesn't look bad.Update: August 2012I have retired these glasses. I ended up having to super-glue the rubber earpieces on both sides to keep them from falling off, had the coating rub off (whether my own fault or not, I've never had any other brand glasses Iridium coating do this), and the optical clarity is sub-par compared to my wife's Oakley polarized lenses. I don't think I would buy Native again. I chose Smith Parallel Max PMPPGYBK this time around, with no Iridium coating. The optical clarity is great compared to wife's Oakley lenses. The color of the tint is slightly cooler on the Smith, in my opinion, which is subjective rather than good or bad.

5Incredible
By M. Coppadge
I bought these sunglasses for a 3-month-long sailing/sea kayaking trip to Mexico last year and I've been using them HARD ever since. They have held up unbelievably well. I've used them for sea kayaking, sailing, hiking, driving, motorcycling...basically everything. They've been stepped on, dropped, bumped...I even dropped a DeWalt Heavy-Duty cordless drill on them, and the frames have remained 100% intact; the lens has one barely noticeable scratch. They're so light that I barely notice that I'm wearing them, yet they fit well enough to not fall off, even during intense recreation. The polarized lenses improve vision, especially for driving and/or motorcycling. The only thing I will warn of is that the reflex lenses will lose their shine in salt water. This is really no big deal, since they still work perfectly as lenses, but I would advise you to save those lenses for less intense occasions.
