The 7Flex LCD Arm will change the way you work. It suspends your flat panel above your desk, allowing you to quickly reposition the monitor with just one hand. Simply move the monitor to where you need it. The arm extends up to 2 feet and collapses to just 3 inches. It even rotates 360-degrees at 3 pivot points. Monitor cables can be clipped beneath arm to keep your desk organized. The arm eliminates the monitor footprint on your desk, giving you back precious space. Works just great.
By C. Brite
I don't normally write reviews, but when I saw the negative review of this item, I wanted to comment. The bottom line: The mount works great. I have four of them, and I'm buying a fifth. The mount can attach to the back of your desk, through a hole in the desktop or to a wall. The mount can rotate your monitor to either portait or landscape or in between, but you'll have to loosen set screws to make it easy to rotate. One small negative: The instructions are not very clear, so be sure to call tech support if you have trouble. They answered quickly, were very helpful and got me squared away in short order. When installing your unit, attach the VESA mount to the back of your monitor, then secure the mount to your desk or wall. Once you've done that, place on the monitor on the end of the arm. The included hex wrench is the tool you use to precisely balance the weight of the monitor. For my 8-pound monitor, it turn about 10 turns with the wrench. Once you've set the balance correctly, you can move the monitor up, down or sideways, then let go of it and it will stay where you left it.The 7-Flex can handle most monitors with either 75mm or 100mm VESA mounting holes and with a net weight 4-14.5 pounds. The not-so-great instructions aside, this is an excellent product and I recommend it.[Edit: March 1st, 2010]It has now been about five months since we bought our first unit, and we now have ten of them. We work in a TV Broadcast facility and use the mounts to support 22-24" LCD monitors. Some of our monitors are mounted to consoles using a hole through the top and others use the wall mount option to fasten the unit to the front of equipment racks. The 7-Flex works great in either arrangement. Still highly recommended.Innovative Office, the makers of the 7-flex, has posted a full demo on YouTube. It's a good demo, too. Check it out.[Edit March 22nd, 2012. It's been about 2-1/2 years since I posted the original review and we now have about 20 of these mounts. Check the image I posted showing five of them mounted to console in our TV master control room. The 7-flex units have worked just great and we've never had a problem with them.

Amazing, just what I needed, smooth, professional and functional.
By Enrique V. Plaza
I am full time Realtor and I needed 3 things in a monitor mount:1.-To work well and to be able to MOVE IT FREELY: In front of me when I am working alone and to any other side when I am with clients. This monitor allows me to move it completely to the side and lift it to show whatever I want to show to my clients. You can move it like a ballerina(up, down, side, other side, tilt, rotate, turn, its amazing---and we no effort!) This itself its the total DEAL for me. (I did a lot of research and believe me, this is very functional)2.-To free space on my desk: the mount occupies almost no space, so I am free to work on a practically empty desk.3.-To look good (clean) and fit a 24" monitor I bought: Looks clean, strong, professional, it melts with the office environment and looks like at 300 dollar mount. Also it does a great job managing the cables. Regarding how it handles my VIEWSonic VX2450wm-LED 24" (I also got on Amazon)I have to say that I have no issues whatsoever. The monitor its only 9.9 pounds and the monitor mounts dominates its weight and size incredibly.I am very satisfied with this purchase and after months of backache due to having my old monitor on the corner of the desk, now I feel so much better having in in front of me, being able to show the screen to my clients and to have something that looks solid and looks good. (I previously got a Ergotron Neo flex which I returned. Its a good mount, but too solid and has extremely limited mobility, so it dint work for me....) Good luck!

7Flex
By D. Moseley
Given that monitor mounts from this manufacturer can cost upwards of $400 ([...]) this particular model is an excellent value at under $100. It supports my 9 lb. 24-inch Viewsonic display very well. The included flex-mount base raises the diagonal support arm 4" above the desktop, providing good clearance when the arm is rotated. There are some minor deficiencies. Although the stiffness in the joints of the arm is eliminated with light lubrication, the rotational coupling, which is used to level the display and to rotate it 90-degrees, from portrait to landscape, remains very stiff. It sort of lurches from one position to the next so that you have to work with it to get the monitor straight. After you've leveled it, if the arm is then rotated horizontally from, say, right to left, or if the monitor is turned 180-degrees on its axis, without moving the arm, the display shifts out of true and must be leveled again. These are somewhat minor flaws, but they do undermine the ease of use and the overall build quality of the mount.
