A gift for friends...that like brewing tea!

My friend saw my joyce Chen tea kettle (black one with bumps) and wished she had one.Well, I am a generous friend and this was a gift to hers (and his) new kitchen.They loved it.They love the tea it brews.I recommended Peets White Tea (Snow leopard) and it is one of the best white teas by far brewed in this.The picture doesn't do the color justice (its a deep blue..)It was smaller than I thought but big enough for brewing for 2-4 folks (2-8oz cups or 4-4oz). You can remove the stainless screen and use bags too!This does not heat on a burner! It is for steeping (you heat water in some other vessel, add the tea leaves to the screened basket inside, then fill with boiling water. The cast iron design will help steep quickly and keep remaining tea warm. You can double brew (add more water again to same leaves) too.

Fabulous quality and value

I just bought a second pair of these through Amazon.Even in a niche of ever declining prices and higher quality, this is the kind of product that stands out as both a superbly crafted offering, and what would have seemed an impossible value not long ago.Everything about Goldring's DR150 stands out as a class act, from the excellent styling and sumptuous and comfortable fit, to the supremely relaxing and smooth sound, to the uniquely designed silver removable cord. Although my own taste runs to classical and jazz, my son (who veers toward Reggae and Alternative Rock) also couldn't resist adopting these as a new standard.I compared these at CES to a number of headphones in the $600-900 range, and always preferred the Goldrings. Of course, cans like other products are subjective. But I don't think you'll find a better value than these.Potential drawbacks for some might be: 1) they are semi-open, so they don't screen out surrounding noise (but that's an advantage if you want to both listen and be able to speak to people), and 2) they ARE large (and extraordinarily comfortable).

Flashback Tent Bed

I had a Cabbage Patch Kid tenant bed when I was a kid and I loved it. Bought the Tree House tent bed for my 4 yr old nephew he loves it so much he wont let his parents take it off the bed, EVER! He's also been sleeping in his bed each night since. Maybe we are on to something????

We liked the fact that it had a fitted sheet with a velcro attachment for the tent. Our son finds it as a hideaway for night time from his brother. It was a great way to get him from sleeping in our bed and back into his own.

I loved them

These shoes were so comfortable on my son's feet. I bought them last winter and he was able to wear them a very long time. I'm thinking about getting him another pair for the fall/winter. He also has wide feet so I love the fact that they come in wide width.

It was exactly what I needed...

I love the CS55 headset for my cordless phone. I had my old one for about 6 years and needed a new one due to some static issues. I found the replacement piece, called Plantronics direct to ask if it would work with the cordless phone model and they said it would. Loved that as it saved me money. The only problem I had is that the replacement part did not come with instructions on how to sync the base and the new headset. I called Plantronics again and they walked me through it - it was very easy. I highly recommend this product.

Works fine. Good price, despite misleading picture

I ordered this headset to replace my set at work. Some office supply stores want $200 plus for the same unit.It works great once you re-teach your base to use the new headset. Instructions can be found on the Plantronics website.Got it next day with the usual great Amazon service.I am a bit disappointed that ALL of the illustrations show the headset AND the base and the item's description does not make clear that this is the HEADSET ONLY!! NO ear pads, NO base, NO INSTRUCTIONS! JUST the headset in plastic wrap. Luckily my base was OK, so I was not inconvenienced.BEWARE !!! This is the HEADSET ONLY ~!!!! And absolutely nothing else! This is still a very good price compared to any other place you might try to get one of these, just be aware of what you are getting.

I love to work on my classic cars. Frequently it's just me, no "helpers(s)". I can do just about everything but removing a stock steel hood by myself can be challenge. I've rigged up pulleys, hoists, etc. Then I saw this garage buddy on the net and thought I'd give it a shot. Best thing since wheel dollies!. It allows one person pull the hood, stow it and then reinstall it at the perfect angle. Real slick! I wish I had it years ago.

very nice very nice....

I purchased this pvc figure about 5 days ago and she is a great addition to my collection! i got the black dress version because the white and red dresses just dont look right to me lol. she is very attractive in the death note live movies and of course, because the anime was first, attractive in there too she is bigger than she looks, a little bigger then my other pvc figures in fact, I was surpised. She has ALOT of detail. A chain with charm around her neck, fishnet stockings that feel like they are real, a stand to sit on a handbag, and of course, THE MIGHTY DEATH NOTE! that can be placed in her hand. I would recomend this pvc figure to any collector and fan of death note itself, belive me the price, while it may be a bit high, is worth it for the amount of detail. I've seen worse detal in pvc's priced over $150! So buy if your a huge fan, or collect nicely detailed figures.

Amazing serum for normal to dry skin

I would consider myself a skin care snob! I only use spa quality products as I have occassionally tried to save money by buying drug store products and I am always disappointed. This serum is amazing. At the local spa it sells for $100. I live in a harsh, cold climate and have very sensitive skin (dermatitis, eczema). This serum hydrates beautifully. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful

The Grohe Atrio towel bar is something that I hesitated to buy due to the high price, but now that it's up, I would definitely buy it again. It is very well-made, heavy (as opposed to a regular lightweight bar) and is perfectly finished. Surprisingly, it's all one piece, so the bar can't wiggle or rotate between the end fasteners. Installation was simple and quick - the set screw holds the ends firmly with no help from caulk.

Didn't see any difference when using product

I gave this product 2 months to see any difference in lines/wrinkles, etc. I applied it as they said, doing it 2-3 times a day and over 2 months have not seen any change. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it. I have used other products that are not as expensive that I have had better results.

It does work!

This product really does work! I think the key is that I have been getting professional microcurrent treatments done for the past 6 years. I had not had a treatment done in over two months when I had bought this product. It took about 3 sessions at 20-30 mins per session to see results. I saw the most noticable, immediate changes in my jaw line and brow/forehead areas. Used in tandem with the hylauronic acid and gel, it works beautifully. However, I can see how someone would not see results if they've never done treatments and are only doing 5 min sessions. The one drawback is that you'll go through batteries much quicker with the longer sessions. In my opinion, that still beats going to a professional once a month for a 45 min session and then paying $165.00!! Give it a few months and do longer sessions. That's my unprofessional opinion though.

NuFace - Only in the name

I have used NuFace for a while. The light is on, I glide across my face and well...nothing.I have done one side of my face to see if it looks different or lifted than the other side and it does NOT look any different. I notice no lift, no wrinkle change.Honestly, the only thing I notice is when it comes close to my nose and shocks me a bit.I was very excited about this product. My hair dresser said it was great and had tried it. But, it really just doesn't work. I am 40.

Bad investment

FYI, after expiration of warranty on this machine, YOU ARE SCREWED! They will not fix it, or send you parts if needed or anything. Even if you want to pay for them or to fix it. Not worth taking the risk. Too much competition out there of products just as good and companies that stand behind their product. This company doesn't. You might consider this before you spend the money on this expensive product.
