We use it on our deck.

We had a clay chiminea that did not weather well. It fell apart. We were looking for something attractive that would last. This aluminum chiminea fit the bill and was about the correct size. It turned out to be just a little smaller than what we had hoped. We built a short platform for it and it does well. It's front door was not an exact fit to the contour of the firebox but it was close enough. One has to be careful of the size of the fire or you can get flames out of the chimney. Standard size duraflame logs fit nicely and give a good effect. This chiminea is very attractive. We expect to get a lot of use from it. It would have been perfect (5 star) if it had been 10% larger.

A good intro to tablet/slate PCs

I am an artist and for a while now have been contemplating moving over to a tablet/slate PC. I have been using an LE1600 for a while now, I wanted to try something out without going to the expense of $1,000 just to find I didn't like it. Anyway, This "little" computer has served we well but it does have a couple of major things not to like for an artist.First - there is no pressure sensitivity so a line is a line is a line, so subtlety or variation, which can be fine for quick, simple sketching or drafting but not so much if you want your lines to have different weights on the fly.Second - I am not a huge computer guy and I am really tired as I write this so I don't know the correct term to use but basically the LE 1600 does not have the best refresh rate? If you are trying to sketch something very quickly you might experience some lag, if you try to draw a circle VERY quickly you might end up with a triangle, I am not kidding or exaggerating. I tried once to show somebody the problem and it came out looking like a spiro-graph.But overall for taking notes, some art projects/programs this is a good introduction to the principles and practices of using this type of machine without emptying your wallet. Just be careful who you buy it from, these machines are older now and can only be gotten used so they can have lots of problems if they are not tested properly.

Great Tablet PC

My 1600LE came with WindowsXP tablet edition & although it came with some awesome features it was unbearably slow by todays standards. I new I would lose speech recognition but I didn't use it anyway and I installed Bodhi as the OS. Well the speed is super. Startup time is cut in half. It loads applications instantly and download & upload speeds are fantastic! It took over an hour to download my 1.7GB dropbox folder in windowsXP & in Bodhi it took less than 5 minuets. The stylus works out of the box & xournal, cellwriter, easystoke, & mypaint work beatifully. I had to fool around with alsamixer in terminal to get the sound to work properly. My results can be found in the Bodhi forums.

Just what I was hoping it would be!

I shopped around for a storage cart for my new stand mixer and baking accessories and I'm so glad I chose this one. It arrived in 2 separate boxes, and all of the parts were included and in perfect condition. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put this together by myself (with just a little help from my hubby at one point when an extra pair of hands was needed). Once together, it is very sturdy and just the right size for the space where I have it. I also like that the wheels lock in place. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect for sitting up long hours on the bed

I was put on pregnancy bed rest for all of my third trimester. I looked in many places for a wedge pillow that would let me sit up in my bed and work on the laptop or read. The doctor's orders were that I need to be in an incline if I sit up at all. All other wedge pillows I looked at seemed to be either too narrow or short. I took a chance with this one and it turned out perfect! Since I needed something that would let me work in bed, I couldn't purchase one of those bed rest pillows that have arms. The laptop bed tray would not have fit in well.Pros:- Firm enough to provide the perfect back support- Long enough that my head, neck and back are supported (I am 5' 5")- Wide enough on the base to give me the best inclineCons:- Not really a con but something to know is that you will need to use a small pillow to support your head

Impressive ring...really

I felt like Smeagol when I first saw this ring. This is exactly as advertised, only a bit more impressive. Knowing the differences between Moissanites and Diamonds, my greatest fears with this ring were that it would maybe have a faint yellowish, greenish or grayish tint to it, and that it would display the "disco ball" effect that many have claimed them to have. Well, I tell you that this ring is FAR from having those defects; it's so white on every angle and luminosity with which I examine it, and I do really have a crisp sight. And it does not have a disco ball brilliance whatsoever, and this impressed me since this is a 1.25 carat ring, and moissanites of a bigger size tend to be very brilliant. Also I'm a conservative person regarding to brilliance, and its brilliance is just fine, not extreme and not soft, is just very brilliant in a beautiful way. Finally, the stone's base is of very good quality, it's not thin and not exaggerated either, it's very elegant.My fiancee and I really liked this ring very much. One can very hardly be disappointed with this ring.

Stunningly Simple

After trying on many different shapes and different gems, this ring caught my eye. Because it wasn't an actual diamond, I wanted to dislike it. However, I returned to try it on again and again because it was absolutely beautiful and clear. Finally, I bought it because no other ring of any shape or gemstone looked as gorgeous, in my opinion.Total strangers would comment on the beauty of the ring, and even my own mother (who turns up her nose at anything "lab made") needed convincing that it wasn't a natural diamond.As a person who gets her hands dirty while gardening, playing with the dogs, and raining kids - this ring remained beautiful through it all.Sadly, when times got tough, I sold the ring as it was one of the only things of value I owned. I regret selling it because it truly was the most beautiful jewelry I have ever owned.The picture here doesn't do it justice. If you have doubts, find one in a store and try it on. Your hair type makes the difference

I'm a professional and I thought I would try this hair dryer because of the reviews and the price was pleasing too. I had been using the star 2 1200 watt hair dryer by Solis, which was very good and lasted many years. I found Solis star 2 1200 watt hair dryer to be hotter and good on tightly curled or kinky hair. This product work but takes a little more to strighten the hair. The Solis also came with the comb which I use all the time. because of the simailarity I was able to use it with this one as well. The hair dryer will do for relaxed hair and not too kinky hair.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. She has severe neck pain and often gets severe migraines from that pain so my massage therapist friend recommended that I get her, her own face cradle, and she was right!
