Oh, WOW!!

I've been using Bob's Red Mill Fava Beans but was looking for a less expensive alternative when I stumbled onto this product. It's so much better. There's no comparison. The beans are much cleaner and cook up velvety smooth. They are creamy in their consistency and, since my doctor said to cook them to mush, that's a good thing. I thought the BRMFB were large until I got these. They are huge. I don't go exactly by the directions to cook the beans. I soak for several hours and then cook. I had to keep adding water during the soaking process because they kept expanding and sticking up out of the liquid. I will definitely buy again.

Looks and sounds wonderful!

The terra cotta parts are, in fact, real and not hollow plastic. The tile work trim is very nice and matches the bowl's color very well. The packing by the manufacturer was done very well using bubble wrap and tie-down straps to firmly attach everything to a solid layer of cardboard. You'll have to work to cut the thing out.Assembly wasn't that hard following the pictures in the included manual. The pump is small but works well enough to set up a good flow of water. We placed some rocks we've collected around the state in the bottom bowl to hide the pump.The solar cell does require full sun to start up and keep going so the 10 foot or so cord helps mount the fountain where you want and put the solar cell where you need to get best sun. The solar cell comes with a ground stake or a flat mounting plate that can screw into a patio cover or the like for best view of the southern sky.The sound is rather nice with four "falls" from the jar and the three small bowls. Perfect!

Be careful when cleaning!

We bought the Mosaic Terracotta Cascade Solar Fountain for our daughter. She loves it! However, when you are cleaning the fountain, make sure to remove the bowls from the top down, unhooking the pump from the top container first. If it is cloudy, the solar pump won't work, but the birds still love using the water in the bottom bowl for bathing. All of us are enjoying this fountain. If you put more rocks in the big bowl on the bottom, the birds will have an easier time, and you will waste less water.

Beats the Home Depot/Lowes versions by a mile

I've been slowly remodeling a Town Home which the builder appeared to emphasize "builder grade" materials. Chrome just has this clean look that nothing else seems to match, so I chose these as the starting point with a new master bath.The good?Solid brass; and they do mean solid. The handles must weigh a few pounds alone. Somehow a solid, heavy, handle is more satisfying to engage than the lighter weight derivatives on my other doors. The precise bolt action is also appreciated. There is slight, but reassuring, audible click when the door shuts closed. It is also faster, cleaner, click than on the lower quality spring action in the builder grade versions. I think this has lots to do with the presence of plastics over brass in the lower quality items.The bad?I hope you have an extra 10-15 minutes per door. You will have to futz with the setup more than the builder grade replacements from Home Depot/Lowe's with the Baldwin brand name. It appears the builder grade I am replacing is less precise in certain areas, and you may have to break out a few tools to clean up some of the notches for a proper fit. The Baldwin also have a very clever alignment tool which prevents the door handle from "sagging" and sitting slightly askew while tightening the screws. Unfortunately, this is offset by the painful process of using 4 set screws to keep the handles on.In the end, you may spend a significant amount of money putting these throughout your home. However, the look is undeniably sophisticated and the high quality easily noticed. I would only caution you on the use of these since sometimes the door is less money than the handles you are putting on it. If you are replacing the doors as well, then this is the only way to go.

The Habanero Chile (Capsicum Annuum) is the hottest chile. Behind the heat is a fruity flavor that makes the chile a wonderful way to spark up a dish. It is a round, oblong chile about 3/4 inch wide. "Habanero" means "havana-like", a reference to its possible origins. It's the only pepper grown in the Yucatan that has no Mayan name. Speculation suggests that the Habanero originated in South America and made its way into the Caribbean and Central America via Columbia. On the heat scale, the Habanero is a 10. Use rubber gloves when handling the Habanero Pepper. Scoville heat units 150,000 to 350,000.

Awesome chilis

This is going to read like an ad for the company, but rarely have I been so completely satisfied by a product. I was specifically looking for dried habanero chilis that I could grind myself for a variety of uses. I had never purchased from this company before and was concerned that the peppers would be leathery and not really dry enough for my grinders to work correctly. No worries! These chilis were exactly what I was looking for. They were perfectly dried and I was able to grind them very easily into the different consistencies that I need for my various uses (jerky, salsas, etc.) The peppers are first rate: the flavor is awesome - the perfect habanero combimation of smokiness and buttery heat. It is obvious that they started out with only the finest fresh chilis and dried them to perfection. Not only that, but the delivery was faster than promised and the packaging was excellent as the peppers arrived in perfect condition. There is no question where I will go when I need to replenish my supply. If you need perfectly dried chilis of the highest possible quality, look no farther. You will NOT be disappointed.

I've got two of these reels now, ther'e just an outstanding piece of fishing gear, my first one is over 20 years old and has been trouble free, with regular cleaning and lubrication, I could'nt praise these reels high enough, recommend to all. I river fish for Salmon with these reels.

Beautiful dolls, lovely set

I purchased two of this set, I liked the first one so much I had to buy another to debox. The dolls are lovely reproductions of the vintage dolls, though the original titian-haird 1964 Swirl Ponytail Barbie doll was not available with the bubble-gum pink lip and nail color. Coral lips and nails would have been more accurate. But it's a lovely doll nonetheless, and the Skipper doll is adorable. I hope Mattel creates more repro Skipper dolls, as well as Skooter and Ricky. This set comes with a cardboard backdrop that is based on Barbie's New Restyled Dream House, and it's a wonderful bonus. I have several of my vintage repro dolls displayed in front of it. Great set, definitely worth the price.

Just don't compare to the original's!

I ordered this because it seemed like a good deal and always wanted the Skipper and Barbie dolls I never received as a kid. They have nice painted faces and clothes, but the Skipper's hair is nothing like the originals, the bangs are too thin and the dolls hair is not soft and lifelike like the older dolls. I decided to invest in the original Skipper dolls instead and you can find good deals on Ebay by the 1960's dolls which have better value. I feel this item is a waste of money and would not recommend it, ended up just giving it away to my granddaughter and she doesn't even play with them. Oh well! imgranmachris

Well-balanced Design

I am very happy with this watch after trying and returning a couple of diver watches. I like the fact that this watch looks similar in design to a diver's watch but its not quite as bold. For example, the black rotating bezel is much smaller than the typical dive watch. The chronometer dials and other face features are nicely styled, subtle, yet eye-catching. The case is weighty looking but not too large. I like that the top surfaces are brushed, but the sides are polished. The band is very high quality, mostly brushed stainless steel (the inner edges are polished) and hold up well (no scratches - yet). Only minor detractions are that I would have liked a larger date display, and the pin holes on the sides of the lugs (where it connects to the band). Also, be aware that you will probably have difficulty replacing the band for a leather one, or even another metal one since the case has a center projection between the lugs that integrates into the band. In summary, a great cross-over watch that looks great in both casual and business attire. This watch is hard to beat for the price - it really looks as though it should cost much more.

Excellent, hardy watch.

I have had this watch for slightly over one year now. It was a Christmas gift (2009) and it has proven to be extremely reliable. It is a very attractive looking watch and I have taken it on on trips to Central and South America in extremely hot and humid conditions, which have ruined other watches of this type that I have bought at a similiar price. This watch is now my travel watch for its reliability and it goes well with casual clothing and dress clothing. I am very happy with it and it is the watch that I wear the most.
