Excellent hoist

Looked at chain hoists for a long while. Don't have a regular use for one but when you need it, nothing else will do.After checking out every brand on the market and seeing that the prices are all over the place, this one seemed to be in the middle.I have some other Jet stuff and I am always pleased with there products. If your looking, this is a good one.

Good Product, but Allergic Reaction.

I read about this product in Good Housekeeping. I will be forty this year, and have developed some lines near my eyes, on my forehead and around my mouth, so I thought I would give it a try. I must say, it does work. The lines in all of these places were less noticeable after about a week, especially the lines between my eyebrows. The scent is very pleasant and leaves my skin feeling soft in the areas where it is used. However, I developed an allergy to it. My right eyelid began to swell and get all wrinkly and itchy. Eventually my left one did as well. It took me a while to figure out what exactly was causing the reaction, but today I figured it out for sure. I hadn't used the line filler under my eyes for some time. I cut out several products I was using to try and narrow it down. My eyelids have been normal for about a month now. About a week ago, I went back to using the line filler, but only on my forehead and around my mouth. No problems. Then today I decided to put a little under my eyes. Within 15 minutes my right eyelid had puffed up again, on the upper eye lid and underneath, and both of my eyes became itchy. I washed around my eyes with baby shampoo and put a teabag compress on them for several minutes. The itchiness is gone and the swelling has reduced. It stinks, because clearly this is a good product and it works. Unfortunately, I am probably one of the few people who have a sensitivity to the chemicals in it. If you want a product that does what it says it will do, this one will. But if you end up with puffy, itchy eyes, this may be the culprit. :)

INTENSIVE WASTE OF TIME

In a word,USELESS. I used a side by side comparison, one side of my face with just my regular moisturizer, and the other with No 7 line filler. I am over 40 and have fine lines on forehead and side of eyes. This did absolutely nothing. I used for an entire week. There was no difference between using this and my regular moisturizer. Do not waster your money like I did.

Perfect little machine for the home hobbiest. I bought this machine for sheet metal work and the ocassional 1/4" chunk. Cuts like butter through thin steel, takes a little more time on the 1/4" stuff. But its alot cheaper to operate on sheet metal and mild steel than oxy-acetylene. Best feature of this unit is not having to adjust a single thing, no air pressure, no amperage adjustment. Just pull the trigger and cut away.

Amateur Car Restorer

I bought this Plasma cutter for cutting sheet metal and various Rusty parts off my 76 Trans Am and I must say for the size of this little box and the cost, I'm very impressed. The unit is like they say plug in and play. I found it very easy to fit into my Hobart upright cart along with my Hobart Handler 140 (also an awesome welder) so if you're concerned about size, don't be, it's about the size of 2 six packs. Key features I like about it are that I don't need to use my air compressor on it, it has one built in. This way I don't have to adjust the regulator or any. Also, it only throws sparks about 1-2ft, I've heard horror stories of Plasma cutters throwing sparks for 4-6ft. I'm working in a small one car garage and I don't like having to worry about fires and such when working. Now as for cutting depth. The book states it can do 1/4in thick steel. I believe if you have perfect conditions it can do this with a pass or two. I have found in my own experience that it will at least cut 1/8th to 3/16th. (I had to cut off my rear frame off my car and it worked great.) And as for 20-22gauge steel, it'll cut through that like butter.Now the cons, he ground cable isn't very flexible. It seems almost as if it were solid wire instead of stranded. I'm comparing this to my welder's ground cable and it is much more flexible. Another con is that I'm not very good at it so it keeps turning on and off and when it turns off you have to wait for the compressor to refill (3-5sec) before you can start again. Not a huge con but annoying if impatience is a character trait. It does however run rather quiet, I can talk over the sound of the compressor. Other than that I can't really thing of other draw backs. They do come with a 3 year warranty from Hobart, I called hobart up and I talked to one of their repair technitions and he said he barely ever gets plasma cutters in, they mostly get welders that have been on the job site for 10-15 years. So I do agree that hobart is an AWESOME BRAND. So I my point with that is don't be afraid to purchase one used for a couple bucks less. It's worth it! I guess that about wraps it up.Final Notes: I would recommend this to a friend for medium to light duty cutting. I would not recommend this to a daily use shop. I would suggest a size a bigger than this.Biggest Con: Ground Cable flexibilityBiggest Pro: Aircompressor built in and uses 115v 20amp circuit.

Outstanding home tool

What truly sucks about this is that I waited too long to get it. All of the money spent on cut-off wheels, all of the time wasted at the grinding wheel fine tuning the parts... Bottom line; it will save you time, money, and provide you with that warm and fuzzy feeling we all strive for.The good:- Built-in compressor. Turn on and go.- Small, lightweight, easy to move around.- Looooong hoses.- Mine doesn't have the stiff ground cable somebody else complained about. Don't know if this is a recent change.- Fairly good resale value.The bad:- Make no mistake, this is a home unit. It will cut 1/4" steel, eventually... If you only cut thick pieces occasionally it will work fine. Clean cuts at 1/8" but still fairly slow.- Dinky guide, basically a folded thick wire. You will get good at using it but it will take time and in the process you will ruin some metal. If it had a better guide it would cut down the learning curve significantly.- Cool off period is annoying at first (you hit the trigger by mistake; you have to wait for the gun to finish blowing cool-off air before you can use it again). You get used to it.Tips:- You may not be able to run it on a cheap extension cord. Mine kept going off. Plugging it straight into the wall fixed that.- Keep the opening end of the dinky guide pointing down (same direction as the hoses) and cut in a pulling motion, keeping the gun parallel with the cut. At first you think in some cuts it would be easier to flip the guide sideways and cut left-to-right. This inserts a new variable that makes accuracy much harder.-Learn to relax your grip. two-handed, light touch will help you get better at it faster. Practice this with the gun off.

Works for spraying weed killer for lawn

Great product, works just as advertised. Mine came with minor damage (problem with the lid) which was resolved quickly by the company. (They sent a new lid) I mixed two batches of weed-b-gon for southern lawns (two bottles for 21gal is just about right for 3oz/gal) and about 40oz of Talstar Pro 3/4 Gal Multi Use Insecticide / Termiticide / 7.9% Bifenthrin ~ Spiders , Roaches , Fleas , Ticks , Stink Bugs , Mosquitoes , Earwigs Etc. 96 oz Same Product Many Pest Control Pros Use! and it totally wiped out my weeds and fire ants.The weeds have been coming back, as I can't reapply weed killer yet jdue to some re-seeding, but it totally nuked 65 or so fire ant hills in the yard, and has kept them away for 2 months.The only reason I dropped it one star is I think the sprayer is just a little high, and this causes more drift that I care for. I was very afraid that it would drift onto flowers and other plants when spraying, but didn't seem to harm anything. I might try to move it halfway down (about 8" closer to the ground) next time I use it.

Great product for the price

Compared to products that retail for twice as much as the Precision Products 25 Gallon sprayer - this bad boy is awesome. I have used both the handle and the tow behind spray bar. Both work great - the spray bar actually covers more area than I expected. The pressure gauge on the pump is nice so that the engine will not burn out.My only issue was the packing and shipping of this product. The box arrived trashed - obviously over stressed for a product this size and weight. One of the valves had fallen off during shipment and where Precision Products was great about getting me a new one, I had to wait an additional two weeks to use my brand new sprayer.

Weed Sprayer - Works quite well

I recently purchased this weed sprayer and found it quite easy to use. Assembly was quick and easy. The 12v cable is easy to string over to your garden tractor battery and the inline switch is located where you need it. The 6" wide cap on the tank is to use and allows trouble-free filling with glyphosate and water. The sprayer nozzles are also easy to adjust for wider or narrower spraying situations. My neighbors have come over to examine this trailer sprayer and impressed with it.

Precision Sprayer

I have only used this sprayer once but it works very well. The shipping box is too flemsy for the sprayer and was received in a very damaged condition. Luckily they had the foresight to put the assembly parts inside the sprayer tank so all parts were there. One screw had come off the sprayer but was still in the box.

This is a well made, handy yard sprayer. It is easy to assemble and easy to use. My only issue is the short span of the wheels. You have to be very careful when turning so that the weight does not shift and cause the traler to turn onto it's side. That said I use mine often !

Pretty good

It does an awesome job moisturizing. Not as easily mixable with foundation as I would like, but it does the job. I really do like how the witch hazel lets it be moisturizing without the least bit comedogenic. A little goes a long way and you do need to rub it between your fingers first the way it says on the package. If you follow the directions, you don't end up needing much. I would buy it again.

Does what it is supposed to

This is the heaviest roller that I found that can be pushed/pulled by hand, not with a tractor. I rototilled my entire backyard to sow new grass seed. This left the lawn very bumpy and uneven. I smoothed it out as much as possible with a wide metal rake, then rolled with this roller. It definitely helped compact the soil and set the seed in good contact with the soil, but it is just not heavy enough to really smooth out high spots. This is true even though it was only working on loose dirt. It would likely be less effective on an established lawn. It does does what it is supposed to, roll about 230 lbs across your lawn, but don't expect it to do the job of a 600lb roller.

lawn roller is OK

The roller works well for a tow behind an ATV or garden tractor which is what I use it for. It seems to be well made and assembly was easy. The option they give you to use with a handle is not the best but I was able to modifiy and pushing/pulling works good but a lot more work. All in all I would purchase again.

Good product - Easy to Assemble - non-thread Plugs work well

I ordered the Precision Poducts PLR 1824 Lawn Roller from Amazon on Monday (Oct 17) with an Estimated receive date of Oct 25, but I received it on Thursday (Oct 20) -- amazing. Just keep waiting and maybe you can get it for free in a year or so ($114 when I bought it, was $112 a couple of days ago and is down to $111 today as I write this Oct 24, 2011 review -- going down $1-$2 a week -- OK, just kidding about free, but the shipping was free.)The product was easy to assemble, except for the lock nuts. They weren't kidding when they called them lock nuts because after huffing and puffing to get them threaded on tightly, I am convinced that they will "never come off". Never seen anything like it in the USA -- must be that German engineering.I was at first disappointed when I saw the size of the water hole, which was barely large enough to accomodate a hose. I thought once I get the thing filled up, it would take a couple of hours to drain. Then I discovered that there was a water hole on each side which alleviated my draining concerns. Really no big deal anyway, because I will fill the darn thing up and not bother to drain it until I am finished with it (which is for use in installing a new lawn).I was originally going to go with the Brinly lawn roller, but there were many complaints about the threads on the water holes on the Brinly -- and I didn't see any such complaints on this model. I'm wondering if it was a Brinly I rented form Home depot a couple of years ago because the water plug on that unit was threaded and was a bear to get on and off. The water plug(s) on this unit are in fact just a plain rubber stopper with a bolt/screw in the middle that you tighten to compress the stopper, which expands the diameter of the stopper in order to provide a tight water seal. Very, very easy to install and it works great.The packing box was not very good, but there is not much you can damage on this unit. Your kid could assembly the thing with the exception of tightening the lock nuts. Contains a handle for pushing and pulling around -- or without the handle, can be hooked to a lawn tractor (lynch pin included).The product works as it should although it is a little tough pushing uphill -- glad I didn't get the 36" guy (which I probably would have if I could have found one with a handle).Not much else I can say. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 24" lawn roller.P.S. Don't know where the Round Rock Reader came from -- will have to look into that.

Good trailer, but poor dump cart

I've had the trailer one year, and it will handle anything I load on it. The dumping lever tends to be difficult (unloading and locking back down). The tailgate must be removed (by pulling straight up) to dump trailer, making it very hard to use both dump mechanism and tailgate together. Last issue for improvement would be the trailer hook up, it is a bit flimsy & a ball hitch would be a great improvement. But for hauling fairly heavy loads in confined areas - works very well.

Excellent product! Easy to assemble, and the tailgate/dump feature works great. This is the first cart of this type I've owned, and I am very pleased with it.

Great Lawn and Garden Cart

The Precision cart was easy to assemble and works extremely well. It was delivered with a bent tailgate, which the manufacturer replaced at no cost. The cart does everything needed for lawn and garden work. It has a great dump feature and a removable tailgate.

I really like this pan. It cooks things very well, and the vent hole is nice. I did have an incident that I cooked milk at too high a heat, and it boiled over and shot out of the vent hole like a geyser. That was my fault, though. You do not have to use as high a heat as you would with other pans, and it keeps heat nicely. I have bought several le creuset pans recently, and they are just as if not easier to clean than my old cheap teflon covered pans. I am really happy that I made the switch!

Versatile everyday pan

I purchased this as an all-purpose sauce pan. The size helps alleviate the stress of the heavier weight of Le Creuset, making it easier to transfer contents and clean. I've made everything from perfect oatmeal to candied yams to baked beans to berry cobbler to sour cream chicken in thyme. All came out quickly and to perfection due to the conduction of cast iron. This is the best cobbler pan out there. Here's my recipe and you can try it yourself:Melt 1 stick of butter (1/2 c) in saucier over low heat.In a separate bowl mix 1 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. milk, 1/2 t. cinnamon, then add melted butter from the saucier. Mix only until blended. (Hint: if you mix flour and sugar before adding other ingredients, the sugar breaks up any lumps in the flour and makes a flawless batter.)To the warm pan over low heat add 1c blueberries + 1 c blackberries (or 2 c. of cherries or other berries) Top with 1/2 sugar and cook until bubbly. (precooking the fruit allows you to use frozen or fresh berries and makes a gorgeous crust because the dough begins to rise immediately upon contact.)Meanwhile preheat oven to 350 degrees F. When the oven is at temperature and the berries are bubbling, add the batter to the boiling fruit, lightly stir. Immediately put into hot oven and cook until golden brown 30-40 minutes. Remove promptly and serve warm with ice cream or all by itself.This recipe works with peaches, cherries, apples, blueberries, blackberries, and similar mixtures of fruit.The Le Creuset makes a fabulous brown crust that is light and moist in the middle and crispy on the edges. It shortens cooking time for me by fifteen minutes. Also due to heat retention, cobbler can be made before dinner and kept warm in the saucier for up to half an hour. It's a crowd pleaser. However one of the best things about it is what happens after dinner. Clean up is a cinch. No scrubbing and no blackberry stains. Great find.

A PAN FOR EVERY USE!!!

How did I live without this pan in my kitchen? This pan has many uses from cooking rice to many one pot meals. The size is perfect for all of these. This will replace a few of my pots and pans. Rice came out so good that my family mentioned it to me and they just eat and leave. The Saucier is my new best friend.
