One of my favorite RC Gliders - 1c charger stock
By M. Perry
Hello,This is my 4th mini XPV; I fly 2 of them regularly [my girlfriend got one stuck in a tree]and I bought 1 for my brother. They handle great and with a longer antenna [on the glider itself], the range is well over 300 feet. I have had it up to 20 stories high or so [well over the tallest trees at the lcal parks] with great control. The main reason I buy these gliders is for their stock 1c chargers. 1c is the charge rate [1/10th of the battery] and this charger, which is built into the Tx, will also increase the battery life of any of your Air Hogs AA planes. I have(3) in my bag at all times [with fresh charged MiMh batteries], so I can be charging 2-3 planes at all times, which cuts down on waiting to fly again. The plane is very responsive; it is pretty easy to over steer the XPV into the ground; but the learning curve is pretty easy. After 3 or 4 flights, you can probably start to keep the glider in the air the whole life of the battery.Flight time is anywhere from 8-15 minutes - 6 to 8 minutes on full throtle, or 10-15 minutes on half throttle or "gliding".Charge time is roughly about an hour; it would be practical to have a couple of planes [2 to 3] for a good flight session, and can cut charge times down to 10-20 minutes of "wait" time.I have both the 49 Mhz and 24Mhz - they both seem to fly the same - I have had better luck with the 49 Mhz.Lastly, this glider is pretty consistant; there are reports of some mini XPVs turning to the right [in circles]- I had this happen once, but Amazon sent me another one [and a free shipping label]. They can be tuned a bit; there isn't a trim setting, like Air hogs. doesn't seem to need one.I have been able to barrel roll pretty easy, and have even done a loop or two. They hold up a lot better in the wind than my other planes, and can handle light to moderate winds. All in all a great plane; I spend about a half hour talking to kids [and their partents] whenever I fly at the park. [I plan to get some more for christmas, and birthday gifts]

Great fun!
By K. Archibald
I bought this toy as a present for my son's best friend. The two of them spent many hours on the beach flying this thing. I was impressed with the quality of this toy--usually I refrain from buying remote control toys, but this one was great!

Nice little RC plane
By Arthur Cronk Jr.
I've had several RC planes, and this is definitely one of the better ones. It's just difficult enough to make flying it a bit of a challenge, but not so much of a challenge that you (or a child) will give up on it. Unlike many small RC planes, it can be used in relatively small area, and will withstand numerous crashes. It takes about 15 minutes to charge, but you get a lot of flight time. Bottom line, the little helicopters are great, until you wreck them, then, not so great. This product is much more durable, more easily controlled, and a lot more fun. I would recommend it for any kid over 9 and under 90.
