Excellent monitor - looking to purchase a 2nd one!

I purchased this monitor back in January for my new XPS 420. I've used it primarily for web browsing, spreadsheets, watching movies, and photo editing. I don't play many games, so I can't comment on the quality of games on it, but it is a great monitor for all of the tasks I've listed.Set up was a breeze. I have it connected to my nVidia 512mb 8800GT video card via DVI input. The stand only tilts, and does not have a height adjustment, so if you're tall (I'm only 5'2"), I would suggest getting a different stand. The controls are along the front bottom of the monitor, are easy to get to, and the monitor is easy to adjust. A headphone jack is also along the front.Several reviewers commented that the text quality is really poor. I haven't had that experience, but I do have a high quality video card, which may be why.The colors are rich and vibrant. I haven't calibrated my monitor for photo editing, but the photos do look crisp.I've watched several downloaded HD TV shows on the monitor, and it has been great. I use JBL external speakers, so I can't comment on the quality of the built in speakers. My experience is that built in speakers don't sound good.I like this monitor so much that I plan on purchasing a second one. The size is great, but since I do alot of photo editing, it takes up most of the real estate, and a second monitor would help me tremendously. I highly recommend this monitor. I got it for less than $200, so for what I paid, it was a tremendous value.

This monitor is the price of a noname with the performance of NEC. Not the best NEC monitor I ever had but a quality piece.
