I wanted a helmet with a visior. After looking around I selected the G10. It had a good fit, and I liked the adjustable head band. This allows me to adjust the fit depending on whether I need to wear a face mask on really cold days or not. My son liked the look so much he started to wear it and I was forced to shop around to replace mine. I went to every ski shop at the resort and in our home town and ended up finding it on Amazon.com.

The sizing charts on Giro's website for this helmet are spot on and mine fits like a glove. This helmet is so cool that you won't get helmet hair at all. The visor is huge and will help keep the sun out of your eyes when the goggles are stowed away. The graphics are downright sexy and the modular earpieces sit securely in the helmet. Be warned, the instructions tell you to GENTLY pull the ear pads straight out during removal. That is completely wrong, you will need at least 40 lbs of force to get them loose. This helmet is super easy to clean since the entire inside padding comes out as one piece. Dunk it in some soap water and lose the funk. My only gripe with this helmet is the super loose goggle tab. It release with barely a slight touch. This can be easily remedied with sticky tack or any tacky coating on the button. Any spill with you actually hitting the back or side of your head will without a doubt knock loose the goggle retainer and you'll be digging your goggles out of the snow.

Excellent product! Very light, but very snug and tight, visibility is very good with this helmet. I love the fact you can take on/off the visor, you truly have two totally separate looks with this one helmet. The air vents are amazing, 3 different setting very cool feature and it works like a charm. Goggles I have are Oakley and they integrate perfectly. Highly recommended product.
