5brilliant reproduction
By Jigen
Unlike the previous review, I've nothing but positive remarks on this item. The facial sculpt has an excellent likeness of Carrie Fisher, and the detail on the outfit (one of my favorite designs from the original trilogy) is superb. While the previous reviewer mentioned the helmet looks too big, I think it looks about right. The problem is perhaps that in the film the helmet is large and sits lower than this model's, which rises up on a neck, does. I think the distress on the outfit looks good -- dirty, used, lived-in... along with the design of the outfit it tells a story (which is one reason I've always admired the production values of Star Wars. I think this aspect of the films -- appealing design which tells a story and feels lived-in -- remains unsurpassed.). It's probably difficult to judge this as there is probably some variation in the production.Unlike Amazon, I wouldn't call this a toy. It probably wouldn't last very long if it were treated as a toy. And while some of these collectibles can run more highly price (particularly from those lazy scalpers), this model is a very good price. Thanks Sideshow! Cheers.

4Great portrait - Amazing figure.
By Peter von Karajan
After some minor fixes, the figure looks pretty fine, and i have to say that it looks AMAZING standing on my CPU. From a certain distance you can tell it to be a real person. But well... the facts are:CONS:- Some minor paint issues on the hair, which i fixed using my skills. Nothing hard. Is about some details, some areas near the "ears".- Minor paint bleeding in the right side of the face, almost unnoticeable, but i'm addicted to details, so i didn't like this one. Sadly, it is too hard to fix without repainting the whole face. But i can live with it, nothing too terrible.- The Helmet got broken as i opened the box - the part containing it - so i can imagine it was glued with saliva (lol). Fixed too, now it looks OK.PROS:- Looks realistic... it really reminds me of Leia. Thought not 100% alike, you say that this is a very nice and vivid portrait.- The details on the Belt, the clothes, the other tools and accesories is amazing.- If you're a fan of the Last Daughter of Alderaan, you'll love this figure.Notice that, like all the Star Wars statues, figures and figurines - Gentle Giant, Kotobukiya, Sideshow, Hasbro, blah, blah, blah - This one is made in CHINA... so, if you're a maniac about DETAILS, be warned, this one is not flawless, and certainly there's no chinese made figure that is.If you don't concern about minor details... don't worry, this one is pretty well done. But if you do... better start thinking about customizing some things - Almost 80% of my figures have walked into my LABS for a little repaint or custom.Bye!

3It could've been great!
By Armando N. Roman
Leia as Boushh was one of those figures that came and went, and didn't get much attention once it shipped. A lot of people were happy with her, but face it- most people want either classic Leia in the white dress or as Jabba's slave. Prototype pictures of Leia as Boushh were amazing. The head sculpt looked right, and the outfit looked to be the best at that time. Sadly, the figure was only average in both categories, and had a major problem that's typical of Sideshow on their 1/6 scale figures.First, the good. The quality of the material the outfit's made of is top notch. All of Boushh's armor and clothing looks as good as it can get in this scale, and the work on the helmet is impressive for an early SW figure in this line. They even put in the letters that most people didn't know were there! This figure's heavier than the usual because of how thick the cloth is, and how much of it there is too. Some consider this Leia to be Sideshow's first shot at an armored figure before they went on to the Stormtroopers and such. The staff looks like it should as well, and Leia's face is great. I really like the coloring on her hair and mouth, but mine ended up with a cross-eyes. Way to go, quality control. If you get the exclusive version, Leia comes with a pistol. 'not much, but hey, it's something. Otherwise, the only other weapon aside from the staff is the thermal detonator. So what happened? First off, the weathering on the outfit is shoddy. They should've either not bothered, or really went the extra mile and made everything more beat up. Leia just looks too neat in the gear, when she's supposed to be more worn. The body can luckily be posed in a few good stances, though most people will probably just leave her in the neutral standing pose with the staff in one hand. Still, it's the Buck body, and if you wanted to do more, you'll have to switch. But the major problem is the Boushh helmet. It's WAY too big and looks downright stupid when you switch Leia's head with it. Yeah, it's not a real helmet- you have to pull Leia's head off and pop the helmet head on just like the exclusive Asajj Ventress figure. Mine didn't break, luckily, but after seeing how it looked just once, I knew I'd never be putting it back on.There isn't much for Boushh Leia out there, so this is probably going to be the best 'high end' collectible for fans of the character. It's too bad they didn't give her more accessories, like a chain and collar for Chewie [if he ever gets made], or another weapon. If it weren't for the helmet being so huge, this would easily be a 4 star figure, and 5 stars if the outfit was weathered better.
