Superb Stethoscope
By Peter Angelov
SUPERIOR STETHOSCOPE: I work in the ER and tools in there always get a lot of beating. I have used the top Littmann models forever and was always surpised at how poorly their manufacturing actually is; this is especially evident once you take the diaphragms off. They may have patented the multifrequency adjustable diaphragm (as they claim), but they are certainly not the best at making it. The ADC ADSCOPE was a surprise find. I got tired of replacing torn diaphragms on my "Cardiology III" and had my "Master Cardiology" one (which was only marginally better in terms of acoustics) stolen, so I decided to give the ADC a try and I must say that from the workmenship to the auscultative quality, this stethoscope is top notch and definitely superior to any of the top Littmann models I've tried. The ear pieces are comfortable (haven't had any issues with them coming off), the sounds are loud and clear despite signifficant ambiant noise, and the thicker tubing actually makes it feel better while holding. It is truly an impressive piece of craftsmanship. The facts that it is far cheaper and comes with a name tag that you don't have to pay extra for are just icing on the cake. I rarely write reviews, but I am actually pretty impressed with this ADC stethoscope and would recommend it without any reservations to any fellow clinicians.

ADC ADSCOPE Multifrequency Scope
By NJC
I purchased this stethoscope at the recommendation of a colleague and a review on Amazon. The promised auditory quality is what sold me on this device and it has lived up to the claims. It's well crafted, and the auditory quality is amazing. Extra ear pieces & diaphragm covers came with the box which are really nice to have. I was so happy with my Littmann for the last 20 years, I planned on purchasing another since it since it had started showing it's age. I am extremely happy with the ADC ADSCOPE Multifrequency Scope and the auditory quality seems better than the newer Littmann's I have borrowed from colleagues in practice. I would have given this a 4.5 star rating but that was not an option. This is a cardiology stethoscope so I am still getting used manipulating the diaphragm for high & low pitched sounds so otherwise might have rated it 5 stars. I am extremely happy with the purchase!

good stethoscope, great price.
By Jared Solko
was a little skeptical about purchasing a new brand. I've inly ever owned littmanns before. I was pleasantly surprised. build quality feels good. it has a nice weight and doesnt feel cheap at all. I can clearly distinguish between the two tones when pushing harder vs softer. also is a nice length. long enough to.fit commfortably around my neck but doesnt get.in the way.
