4Solid nailer
By dan lopez co
I am an experienced remodeler and needed a framing nailer to cover all my needs, from full scale framing jobs, to furring out walls and random remodeling projects. The nailer is light weight and the directional exaust port keeps the noise level tolerable. It has plenty of power to fully sink 3 1/2 inch nails into pressure treated material. The optional sequential fire/single fire is a nice feature. It allows for precise work with out the accidental double tap. The only problem I had was with the nose piece. It's good for face nailing but the dull prongs slip when attemting toe nailing. I took a grinder and ground them to a point and had no problems after that. In the end this has been a good nailer and is well constructed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid nailer with lots of convienient features.

5Worth the features
By Jerry E. Diebel
I purchased the nail gun because of two features that many other guns did not have. I wanted the dry fire lock-out and the rafter hook. My biggest disappointment was that I had to return the first gun I received because it leaked air from the exhaust port when in use and not in use. The leak resulted in erratic sinking of the nails when the gun was fired. Amazon was very prompt in replacing the gun, and the return procedure was excellent. My second gun has performed perfectly. At 65 psi it consistantly sank 2 1/2" nails in siding perfectly. At 100 psi it easily sank 3 1/4" nails in framing. My limited experience with using the gun has been very positive. The gun is quite an improvement over my older Porter Cable 350 which jammed often with 2 1/2" nails. One should be prepared to purchase an air fitting for the nail gun since this is not mentioned in the description. It will take a 3/8" adaptor for a 1/4" air fiting. Ignoring the defect in the first gun, I can recommend the Mkita AN923. JD
