Passy-Muir PMV 2001 Passy-Muir PMV 2001 (Purple) Low Profile Lower Resistance Tracheostomy & Ventilator Swallowing and Speaking Valve (15mm I.D. / 23mm O.D.) is identical to the PMV 2000 except for its color. This valve is lightweight and opens with even less resistance than the original PMVs. It can be used in-line with mechanical ventilation in conjunction with non-disposable, flexible rubber tubing.

Great device

This speaking valve is deceptively simple. Slip it over the end of the inner cannula and speak like normal. Handle carefully and remember to rinse daily.
