5Puts out tons of heat
By Max Power
This has to be wired by an electrician. It is more efficient than a plug-in heater because it is a direct 220v current. Base board electric heat is the cheapest way to heat a house, and the larger the unit the more efficient it is at dispersing heat. This is 8 feet long, which is a very substantial unit. It would be perfect in a living room, or large kitchen, it is much too large for a bedroom or bathroom.Make sure there is room on your service panel for an additional breaker, because an upgrade to a larger amperage box kicks the cost up substantially.Hope that helps you pick out a unit that fits your needs.
