Must have for a serious chef

For every chef, there comes the time when you have to slice a tomato. This is the perfect knife for that, or any other vegetable or fruit with skin. The handle is ergonomic and the blade is sharp and virtually indelible. Well worth the price.

This knife is worth every penny. I bought it for my husband to complete a set of the Shun Onion knives and I have to say it was a case of saving the best for last. All of these knives are wonderfully balanced and fit very nicely into the hand. The serated knife is perfect for delicate cuts on soft foods and slices tomato into paper thin pieces with ease.

My son gave me this knife for my birthday. It is wonderful. It slices through anything with ease, from crusty bread to ripe tomatoes. We've had a little problem with it, though, we sliced through the cutting board (one of those thin plastic ones).
