Beautiful light

Very simplistic, easy to hang. The glass bowl literally just hangs, it is the weight of the glass that holds it into place in the metal notches. Very nice light.

I was replacing a 6 tube fluorescent light fixture in my kitchen pumping out lots of lumens so I looked for the largest incandescent fixture I could find within my price range. Totally underestimated the brightness when I first installed five 32W CFL's and ended up only needing only four 23W CFL bulbs (4000K - 100W equivalent) to get the light intensity and color I desired. All in all, pretty satisfied even though the glass had a few mfg bubbles that are visible but hard to notice. The 4 instant start CFL's I installed are saving quite a bit of energy compared to the fluorescent fixture. Be sure to use CFLs rated for horizontal install, instant start and be prepared to experiment with light intensity and color to get the perfect result. Would not recommend using high wattage incandescent bulbs as the heat (wasted) and energy consumption would be tremendous.
