Installed on a 2006 GMC, 1 ton, diesel, 4x4, crewcab, longbed (7,300# dry weight). Bought the pick-up out of state and did not know it had no catalytic converter until I had to do an emission test for registration this year. After being quoted $500 to $750 installed by diesel shops for the Magaflow, I started looking elsewhere. After comparing others, I decided on a Magnaflow for the least back presure on the turbo. Found the same part number on e-bay for $251 & up. I checked Amazon, and found the part # for $170 plus $11 shipping(thank you). The next weekend I made a 245 mile trip that I make regularly and averaged 23mpg, mostly I25 @77to80 mph. Thats as good as it's ever been, and performance is right on. I would recomend this product to anyone with a turbo for the least effect on the engine. By the way, my pick-up is chipped for performance and economy! Also this is not a slip-on, must be welded at the same place the factory converter was with additional 4 inch diamater stainless pipe because it is only 11 inches long.
