Works on most windows -- This window perches does attach to the wall. There are 2 clips at the back of the perch that go into the track of the window, and a sliding wood/carpeted support underneath the moves toward the wall to lock the perch in place thru opposing pressure.

This thing is gigantic. Fills up our entire window and the color is beautiful. With multiple cats, this was the best thing I ever bought for them to lounge on. Four cats can fit on this at the same time.
