Dr Martens Flag Convertibles
By Diamondgrrl
I love the flag design of the boots ~ It's one of the best Dr. Martens has ~ There were only two things, otherwise I'd've given it 5 stars.. . 1st~ you're supposed to "customize" the tongues of the boots by ironing on additional flags ~ but the patches aren't very good quality and quickly peel off after wear. The other thing is, the snaps aren't very tight, and have a tendency to pop off while wearing. If you can live with those two things, they're comfortable as all Doc M's, and durable, too.

OK for the price and for made in China
By Richard Elgar
I bought a pair of these a few months ago directly from the Dr Marten's' online store for $30. They're a bit silly (you can attach a top part to the shoe, making them into football (soccer) supporting boots), and when you take the top off (most of the time) you are left with the studs that you can see quite clearly in the picture. Also, DMs are now made in China, with a concomitant fall in quality of the leather. However, the soles are made with the same machinery (apparently) as their old factory in UK, and my experience with these shoes is that they are comfortable (only needing a couple of days to wear in) and still looking pretty good.Bottom line is exactly what the title of this review suggests - it's hard to go wrong for $30!
