my 2 cents worth, both the good & the bad

I've had the Go-Go Elite Traveler for 3 months now & truly love it. I did not purchase it from Amazon however wanted to share my feelings as I rely on Amazon reviews when researching a new product. The unit dis-assembles into 4 easy to manage pieces that lift easily into the back of my SUV. At 40 lbs. for the heaviest piece fits within my personal weight limits & has secure lift points. I chose the Go-Go Elite Traveler because I am having more trouble walking & after an hour or so my legs & feet bother me so much that I don't enjoy myself. I do trade shows, conventions & museums so it was discouraging to travel to an event & then have to leave before I had seen the whole show. The Go-Go Elite Travler has proved to be the answer. It's easy to unload & all facilities are ADA equipped. I was concerned that @ a busy convention, people would find the scooter objectionable but that has never been the case. Everyone is more than helpful. My Go-Go has been in 8 different states & allowed me to do events that I could not have experienced/enjoyed without it. I have equipped my homes with ramps so that I can drive in & out. The unit has very little ground clearance 1 1/2" under the lowest part. It will not clear a standard sliding door threshold without a thick mat or fairing. With no suspension of any kind it is very bumpy on the groves on a standard sidewalk. Mine will run for over 5 hours on a full charge & I've run it continually for 3 hours. The seat is very comfortable & swivels giving you added access to things you may be doing. A standard small barbeque cover works excellent for $10.00 if you need to leave it outside or transport it on a trailer or lift.So; that's my 2 cents worth, both the good & the bad;I'm very impressed for the cost.James

Really fast shipping, easy to put together, took longer to get it all out of the box than putting it together. My dad loves it, it drives on the grass as well as on gravel. Great little scooter

I just got my first ever scooter, and even with several surgeries, in my past, I had no problem putting it together, lifting the heaviest piece was not a real strain. I put it together, turned the key, and I drove it right off!!! freedom!
