Very nice dining room light.

I like this light. It has a nice elegance to it with the trim on the glass shades. I like that it has up lights & a down light. I also like the ability to change the lighting so that only the down light is on or only the top lights are on or all lights are on. The only complaint is the switch to adjust the lighting sits at the top of the chandelier & is a bit of a stretch to use it.

3 ways to light the room

What sold me on this light was the ability to light all the lights or just the top 5 ...OR just the bottom downcast light. My brother mentioned it was an easy install. The reason I "like" it and don't "love" it is the upward globes don't look exactly straight which makes it look inexpensive. Also, the GU-24 bulbs are not dimmable.One of the GU-24 bulbs needed replaced on day two; I was credited with what it cost to buy another bulb. Seller was very accommodating. GU-24 bulbs are more expensive than the average bulb, but shouldn't need replaced often...I must have just had one defective bulb. Check out the GU-24 bulbs online. Adapters are available - which I purchased so I could place a dimmer wattage (15W) bulb on the "down lite" globe. When I want to have a soft light on my dining room table to highlight the floral arrangement or have more ambience it looks great.

This light is very bright. I bought 2 of them and am very pleased with the look and style of the chandelier. There are 3 settings on the light. You can either have the middle globe on (over the table) and the other globes off, the middle globe off with the other globes on(towards the ceiling) or all the globes on. Love, Love, Love
