No more telemarketers

I have one of these hooked up at both my warehouse and my home. Properly programmed, you can have the unit answer incoming calls immediately. Both locations are setup so that the system plays a recording that ends with "please press 1 to continue". after pressing 1, the phones ring for 45 seconds, and then go to voicemail. If a caller doesn't (or can't) press 1, the call is dropped and the phones never ring. Even having gone through a presidential election, we never even once got a single robo-call, and I haven't heard from a single telemarketer since we hooked them up. My family and friends just press 1 and get through right away. We have been enjoying productive workdays and peaceful dinners ever since. They also can run a variety of IP phones, and make for an incredible small business VoIP PBX-style phone system.In my opinion, these are not easy to program. I enlisted the help of a friend of mine who has been through Cisco CCNA training. Don't expect any help from Cisco, either. They wanted to sell me an $800.00 support package before they would help me or answer any questions. You'll need to rent a geek if you don't have experience with setting up Cisco equipment. I'm fairly technical and this stumped me.The end result has been perfect, though. I highly recommend this unit.
