Wear them every day!

I've had these glasses for quite some time now and have worn them pretty much every day. They have been through many a foot pursuit, fighting with suspects, traffic stops, dynamic entries, warrant services, and countless hours of training and on the range. They just got their first scratch on the lenses, and it was my stupid fault! I took them off, put them on top of my passenger seat patrol bag, forgot they were there, drove off, and they slid against a sharp corner of my metal ticket book holder, just the wrong way!!!! Well, after having them now for like 2 years, and this is the first time they have been damaged in the slightest, I thought they deserved a good review. Would definitely by em again.

Surprisingly good for brown/red tinted glasses

I like these glasses a lot, my GF said that she liked these because the color looks good on me. Well she has to look at me so I'll take her word for it!But these are light, comfortable and very flexible and not stiff at all though they hold their shape. If you are used to black tinted glasses as I was you'll be surprised at how well the lenses make the glare bearable. Instead of just making things darker it actually makes it easier to see! Also the polarized lenses with the brown/red tint make clouds and sunsets actually look better then I take my glasses off and Im disappointed lol.This is a great pair of glasses and Amazon had the best price that I found, but I will say go find them locally to try them out and see if they are for you then buy them here.

Multitaskers

I got this sunglasses 3 weeks ago, and I've been able to use them in everything from driving at 8am on the highway with the sun on my face to running at 5pm when the sun is starting to go down to a whole day at the beach in the Caribbean sun; and they work GREAT, very pleased with them and at the price I got them I should have bought 2.

good quality sound

I bought this to use with my new Canon FS200 camcorder, for the purpose of making instructional dvd's. It plugs into the external mic jack on the camera. I've just used the laviler mic that comes with it. Sound quality is very good. I am pleased with it. Haven't moved very far from the camera, so I don't know what the actual range is, but I know it works great within 10 feet of the unit.

well designed and everything needed is included

I was surprised at how good the sound was from this inexpensive kit, though the cardoid mic does help in this regard by directional so less background noise is picked up. It comes with everything that is needed except the 9-volt batteries. This includes two types of brackets for the receiver so it can be either clipped to a strap or mounted on the hot shoe of the video camera. 4 Velcro patches are provided for mounting to the side of a camera if that is preferred. A lot of thought went into putting this kit together to make it truly turnkey.The mini phono cable for connecting the mic output from the receiver to the mic input of the camera is also provided (though not mentioned on the product information on Amazon). The mic cable is a coiled design that stretches out 24 inches.The only aspect of its design I dislike is its use of 9-volt batteries instead of AAA batteries which are more readily available and for which one can get rechargeable versions.

Great glasses!

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. They are a true wrap around design so they keep the wind out of his eyes. They're made for a larger face...something that seems to be hard to find these days. Can't beat Bolle's polarization, either. We definitely recommend these sunglasses!

Great pair of sunglasses!

I have been very happy with my Bolle Recoil glasses. I got them as a gift about a year ago, and had worn them every day until recently when I somehow lost them. I liked them so much that I am buying another pair!They are very comfortable to wear, which is saying a lot from me since I really don't like glasses that much. I just don't like the feeling of them resting on my nose. These were so comfortable because they kind of hold onto your head, so that all the weight is not centered right on the bridge of your nose. They fit snug and tight around the face so that no excess sunlight or wind gets in. Great for skiing and outdoor stuff.The one thing I wasn't too fond of was the "Thermogrip rubber temples and nose pads" material. It was fine on the nose pads, but it began to come off in little sticky pieces on the temples. I just ended up tearing the stuff out. This was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.Overall though, they are great glasses, and I would definitely recommend them!

Good glasses

I had gotten tired of buying the cheap versions from locally super store. These are good built, come with a case and cleaning rag which is very nice to have. Polarized lens are nice. These wrap around my eyes which I like. This seems to keep the wind from drying out my contacts when outside.
