Works on most windows -- This window perches does attach to the wall. There are 2 clips at the back of the perch that go into the track of the window, and a sliding wood/carpeted support underneath the moves toward the wall to lock the perch in place thru opposing pressure.

Fat Cat Owner!

I have several very fat, fuzzy, kitties! I was afraid this window perch would not support their weight. I was wrong! I have two big male kitties, one approx. 25 lbs. and the other approx. 20 lbs. They can both sit on this perch at the same time! They love to look out the window, or, relax and take a nap on it. It is very sturdy and attractive. I do have it screwed into the window frame, not just "placed" in the window frame slot. I would definitely suggest getting this window perch if you have big boys like me!

This window perch is my cat's favorite place to nap and bird watch. The carpet covering is plush and the perch is well-padded. It's also very easy to install (no need to put holes in the wall!) and much sturdier than perches that attach with Velcro. It doesn't budge even when I lean on it.

Cat window seat

Works great & sturdy. But it is way bigger than I thought it would be. No drilling, no Velcro just adjusts to window size and attach . Simple setup.
