Safety, Great fit, and looks good too!

I bought this ski helmet for my wife after noticing that over 50% of the skiers and snowboarders we saw during our recent ski vacation in Colorado were wearing ski helmets. (Bought one for myself as well!) We tried on quite a few different brands of helmets while in Colorado, but decided to try to get better prices via the internet... and quite successfully I might add!!! We haven't actually used them yet - and hope that there are no crashes in our future - but we will feel more confident with the added protection next ski trip. The helmet's fit is very comfortable and it provides a ventilation system that is more adjustable than other helmets that we tried in Colorado ski shops. The looks of the helmet is also superior to others in our opinion. Getting the helmets on the internet (Thanks Amazon!) reduced the price of this top of the line helmet to what we would have paid for a mid line helmet at a ski shop - and we also had more options in colors to pick from. I highly recommend this helmet, and helmets in general for skiing and snowboarding!

Tried on several ski helmets in stores and decided I liked the Giro fit the best. Bought the Omen from Amazon and couldn't be happier with the fit (adjustable), the venting system and how lightweight it is. Have not tested it skiing yet but will update if need to downgrade the rating for any reason, which I highly doubt.
