EXCELLENT SPIDER-MAN STATUE

This premiere statue from Master Replicas is an excellent value. It is very solid in construction and offers an excellent sculpt of Spider-man in his black costume. The detail of the suit alone with all its webbing is incredible, but the detail in the body of our web-slinging hero is just as impressive. Equal care was also placed in the faux concrete stand; the texture looks and feels real.The statue comes in four pieces: the clear Spider-Man 3 logo cube, the mirror base with attached stormy sky backdrop, the faux concrete pillar, and Spider-man himself (6"-7" in size). The two metal pins beneath Spider-man's feet are very easily inserted into the bottom blocks of the concrete pillar. You can pose the statue with or without the mirror base since the concrete pillar is free-standing and very sturdy. The mirror base adds depth to the scene and helps add to the illusion that Spider-man is perched high atop the church tower. The scene is based on the teaser poster for Spider-man 3. Fully assembed the statue stands nearly a foot tall.I received #9 of 2500 statues released. It comes very well packaged, featuring square cardboard clips to hold together the styrofoam packaging protecting the statue. This made it far easier to open than the standard clear tape wrapping. You get a certificate of authenticity, but the statue # is not printed on it. You find that at the bottom of the backdrop.I paid less than $50 for this statue, which is a true steal. Fans of Spider-man should be very pleased with this excellent sculpt. I highly recommend it.
