Features of the 3M Particulate Respirator and Surgical Mask: • Designed to help provide respiratory protection for the wearer. • Has a filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against particulate aerosols free of oil. • Fluid resistant - aids in reducing the potential exposure of the wearer to blood and other body fluids. • Adjustable noseclip, braided headbands, and soft nose foam. • Disposable. • May be worn in surgery. • Can fit a wide range of face sizes. This product meets CDC guidelines for Mycobacterium tuberculosis exposure control. As a respirator, it is intended to reduce wearer exposure to certain airborne particles including those generated by electrocautery, laser surgery, and other powered medical instruments. As a surgical mask, it is designed to be fluid resistant to splash and spatter of blood and other infectious materials; when worn properly and in combination with protective eyewear, it complies with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Breathing Help for Asthmatics

I have severe asthma. The slightest exposure to dust, mold, polen etc. can set off a debilitating ashtma attach. I am susceptible to bronchial infection. A trip in an airplane is like inhaling germ soup. I wear the mask when flying, gardening, doing household cleaning and repairs, and in wind storms. It really works. Try it and you will see for yourself. Forget about your appearance when wearing it. Health is worth everything. This product will help keep you healthy. Comes twenty masks to a box. I would discard the mask after every use.

These N95 particulate respirators (capable of filtering 95% of particulates when worn correctly) are fairly comfortable, and easy to breathe while using. These have an added green fabric, and are rated for health care professional use. I bought them to wear on the plane for the next time I get stuck sitting next to a coughing person who would be likely to infect me.
