Very well made, high quality, feels like a real gun, not for kids since it is heavy, included scope is acceptable although there is no instructions included on how to mount it or adjust it to Zero, the rifle itself is very consistent, accurate (depends on you as well) and excellent for having fun in the backyard, and small hunting, this is much better quality than GAMO and other brands

I have the .22 version. Got it today and out of the box this air rifle performed better than expected. Paid $450 plus $12 S&H at Midsouth Shooters Supply (they're in TN). Very powerful, accurate, beautifully built, great stock. Heavy, but not unwieldy. This air rifle requires careful and responsible handling. It's definitely not a toy. Best air rifle I've ever owned, though. I'm retired military so have handled quite a few weapons. Even compared to regular firearms the workmanship on this air rifle is top notch. But that's one of the reasons I purchased it to begin with.I chrono'd this with .22 Gammo Hunter and Copperhead Hyper Velocity pellets. I'm not sure about their respective weights, but the Gammo pellets (15.4 gr.??) are somewhat flatheaded, domed types and the Copperheads (14.3 gr.??) have a pointy tip. New out of the box with only a cursory cleaning of the barrel, the Copperheads chrono'd between 860-910 fps and the Gammo's came in between 850-890 fps. So even though this air rifle doesn't reach the advertised 1000 fps speed (I've never seen an air rifle match its manufacturer-provided performance metrics), it came pretty darn close and that's good enough for me. It's a little on the heavy side and I haven't even added a scope yet. Trouble is, I'm not sure you can be well- and beautifully made, accurate, powerful, and still shave off a whole bunch of weight. Cocking is rated at 36 lbs. It took a little getting used to, but it's reasonable by my standards. My 12-year young son definitely won't be able to cock it, though (which is a good thing, I think). Trigger felt good. Overall I'm very pleased and highly recommend this air rifle to someone who is looking for the real deal. This air rifle is a classic example of the adage, "you get what you pay for." A+

Greetings, I was familiar with the RWS 460Mag and knew exactly what I was buying. And, it perfomed as expected!!! AMAZON: I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE "FREE SHOOTER'S KIT" WAS NOT INCLUDED!!!!!!
