In the line for over 10 years, the Miura is the perfect tool for performance footwork whether it be on slabs, vertical or overhanging steep rock. The high tensioned slingshot rand is tied into the powerhinge on the sole so that when small edges are weighted the shoe stretches in the back half of the shoe and not in the front. This allows you to stick on the smallest edges you can find or imagine! The multi-paneled lining gives you the perfect fit and the speed lacing system laces up in a cinch.

These are great shoes, but def. not for beginning climbers. When you're ready to up your game and you don't mind a little discomfort as you break 'em in (as a climber, you may not even notice), go for it.

Longtime La Sportiva customer

The women's Miuras VS are a good quality shoe and I've always been impressed with the quality of Sportiva products. The lace-ups, the original Miuras, had some padding above the heel of the shoe which was great since my heels are narrow and usually slip out of most climbing shoes while heel-hooking. The only problem I had with these shoes is that they didn't keep that added design for the VS version, so my heel moves up and down a lot.

These are a great overall shoe, great for edging. I'm actually on my second pair. They only thing I don't like is that the ruber seems to separate relatively soon from the leather... I've never not had this happen with a shoe BUT... it seemed (on both occasions) to happen sooner with these. It's an easy fix though. I still recommend these to friends.
