Great fit and quality

This purchase was my second attempt at fixing my 2006 GMC Sierra. My first was purchasing a catalytic converter from another manufacturer that the fit and finish was completely unexceptable and had to be returned. This being my second attempt I was relieved at the quality and the fit of the MagnaFlow. This was only $40 more than the other manufacturer and I should have just bought this one to start with. Everything fit PERFECTLY and now my engine light is off and I am happy. The welds are great, the flanges thick. You will not warp them by over tightening them. Just buy the gaskets that meet the manifolds to the Catalytic pipe flanges as they do not come with the kit and your factory ones are not reusable.

I had been struggling with the check engine light for a month or two and finally tracked the problem down to the passenger side converter. Come to find out a rock or something had dented the converter, collapsing it from the inside. After fighting the bolts on the headers, finally removed the factory system. Great design improvement over stock system. You can access the bolts easier. Both exhaust gaskets were included. It is truly a bolt on replacement with no fit issues and plus you have a quality magnaflow system. Way better than a high dollar factory (single) converter and waiting for the muffler shop or dealer to install.

I own a 2001 Chevy Suburban 1500. The unit came in 2 pieces and fit in the truck perfectly. It seems well made and the price was great. I saw the same unit selling for several hundred dollars more on other sites.
