4Better than other brands we tried but the side slit can be troublesome in the night
By K. Salinger
We ordered a few different brands of sleep sack type things from Amazon because the reviews are so mixed on many of them and many have no reviews at all. Of them all these were the best ones. You absolutely ought to order the extra roomy size! We're all small folks, 5'8", 5'3" and an 8 year old (she could've had a smaller one, but this one will grow with her), but anything smaller would've been annoying for all of us. I am a side sleeper and often like to have a foot out of the covers - something you can't do with these. However, the side opening, which only has a small 1" velcro square every 9 inches or so to keep it closed, pops open easily for side sleepers who usually have a knee bent and so use more room from side to side, with usually your knee, bum or back up against the velcro. In addition, it's really a pain to try and close the side opening at night after it has opened. You have to line up the little 1 inch squares just right which is a challenge when you're sleepy and it's dark. To me, the better option would have been a zipper that opens top or bottom (could have my foot out then and it wouldn't pop open from knees or other body parts pushing on it).The other brands we tried and rejected were:Sea to Summit 100% Premium Silk Liner - I expected more from this one because it had good reviews. This had a ripped seam right out of the bag that it comes in and the seams that were still intact looked like they wouldn't last long - there were large holes around each thread (comparatively speaking) that looked like they would rip easily as well. It was also much smaller and would have felt too confining for me.Grand Trunk Single Silk Sleep Sack - this one didn't "feel" good and also seemed too confining. The seams looked ok, but when side-by-side with the dreamsack it just didn't seem as nice of quality.Summary: The Dreamsack (extra roomy) seems of better quality when side by side with the sea to summit and the grand trunk and was much roomier. The downside is that the side opening pops open easily because the 1 inch velcro square closures are 9 inches apart and pull open easily.

4Silk Bedsack
By S. Mudra
I am relatively pleased with this product, HOWEVER, the side velcro snaps did become undone during the sleep cycle. I ordered the twin size because it is larger than the regular size because I am 140 pounds and thought this would give me more than ample room to turn while sleeping. The side velcro closure did become undone near the top. This product is so luxurious feeling to fall asleep in that I look forward to my next travel where I can use it again and nor worry about the cleaniness of the hotel bed linens. I would buy it again even with the side openers being a little disappointing. I am happy with the top flap that slides over the pillow but usually take my own pillow with me. It would suffice even if I forgot to take my own pillow. The company also has separate pillow covers for those who do not take their own pillow. Great Christmas gift for a traveler.

5sleep comfortably anywhere.
By fredonia
Sliding into silk is a wonderful feeling and always helps me to sleep very well. I have the Dream sack king size silks on my bed and this will go everywhere I have to. No worries about hotel rooms etc., just pure comfort and a feeling of being home when your not. The only con is the Velcro tabs are uncomfortable and I believe, not necessary.
