Good Product --- Excellent Customer Service
By Richard J Schiltz
Received order before the estimated time of arrival. Actually wasn't able to put filter in place until after I got back from vacation --- was expecting it to be delivered while I was out.The installation of the filter was difficult but not becase of the filter. I do not have much space under the sink so I put it in the basement right below the sink counter. As such the tubing was too short so I did have to get new tubing from the hardware store. That was not a problem and I expected that as I changed the "normal set-up design" location. The only real problem that I had in installation (and it was difficult because of this not the filter) was trying to tighten up the faucet to the sink countertop. Not because of the filter but because of the location of the faucet. Could hardly get to it. What is really great about the filter is the "quick connects"! If it weren't for them I would still be trying to "tighten up" the tubing to the faucet as there just wasn't any room under the sink to get a wrench in for tightening it. They are great!!The reason I am writing this review however is not for the above but rather for this. The filter did have a slight leak in the connection between the filter chambers. Not really too bad but still a leak and it shouldn't have been there. I called the Technical help number at Crystal Clear Supply, Inc and was expecting the normal run around that one usually gets when you call in with a problem about an order. I was able to talk with a "person" within a matter of a minute and the issue was resolved in another minute or so. When I described the problem I was told that it was one of two things. 1) If the filter is rough handled in delivery sometimes the plastic coupling can develop a minute crack in it and it would give a slow leak or 2) It may just not have been tightened enough when it was put together in the first place. In any event he said he would get a new coupling out to me asap just in case it was cracked. He then told me how to tighten the coupling etc. He couldn't have been more helpful. As it turned out the coupling was just a little loose and with a little tightening the leak disappeared. (I did, at his suggestion, use some plumbers teflon tape also). The plastic coupling came in the mail two days later, but I didn't need it. The filter is working as it should and my wife is loving it as the water before filtering had the "funny" chlorine taste to it and now it doesn't. (I did the behind your back taste test four times with her and she was able to pick the filtered water every time.) What she doesn't know is that I know the other "crap" in the water is also out because of these filters.Couldn't be happier with the filters and especially with the Customer/Technical service from Crystal Clear.

Bestfilters
By HossJL
So far, it is everything as advertised. Was delivered quickly, and installed easily. The water is clear and taste good. The main reason I purchased this item, was that it was advertised to remove bacteria as well as many other contaminants. I am confident it is doing what it is designed for, however, have not tested for this, as of yet. At this point, I highly recommend.

Where's the instructions?
By Barb
As far as I know it works great. I haven't tested our water so I can't be certain. I was irritated that I had to have it shipped to Ohio to my daughter who then shipped it to me as they won't deliver to Alaska. (Last time I looked, Alaska is part of the United States!) After it cost me double the shipping, there were no instructions. My husband, who isn't exactly the handy-ist of all people, was able to install it after a discussion as to which filter should be filtering first. He still has one leak but I think it may be because a water line wasn't cut perfectly straight (?). It fits nicely under our sink and attaches to the side of the cabinet. The water flow is good.
