Width is way too narrow

I ordered a pair at 6 1/2 WW (EE). For that size and width, according to standard sizing charts, the sole should be 3 3/4-4" wide at the widest. These are 3 1/4". According to standard size charts, that would be a C width at most.It's really too bad, as these appear to be very attractive boots otherwise. Why bother advertising and supporting widths if your widest size is so narrow.

Great Boots

I've had these boots for ten years (!), and when they finally wear out, I'll be sure to repurchase them. The ones I have now, however, have remained in such great shape that I don't need a new pair. That's the downside of buying such a terrific product. They fit true-to-size, are very comfortable, and have kept my feet dry and warm on snowy days. The shaft is 8-inches for a size 7, which is perfect: not too low so that when you step in slush you get wet, and not too high as to be restrictive.

I have wore them many times and they are warm and comfortable. They look nice with dress slacks. I usually wear a 6 1/2, but followed the sizing and went up a 1/2 size and glad I did. I recommend these boot and was shipped in a good time.
