Perfect for back patients

I have slept in a push back recliner for the last 5 years after my third back surgery. Last fall I had a 2 level spine fusion surgery, since the surgery it has been hard to get up from the relining position in my old chair. We have tried many chairs at many stores until I found Catnapper Omni. I feels so good to lay in and seems to have been made just for me. I am only 5'3 so I was a bit concerned it would be to big. It is so comfortable and I know I will have many good nights sleeping in it. I love just pushing a button to lay down or get up. The company that makes the chair helped us find it in a store to try out, Jackson Furniture has been around since 1932 I think. The way they helped me and built this tchair they should be around many more years to come. Love my chair!!

My father is 85 and has some mobility issues. We were looking for a replacement chair for his living room that he would have no problems reclining and getting out of. We did some shopping locally and found the Catnapper Omni but the price was considerably more than AMAZON. I ordered the chair from AMAZON before Christmas 2011 and recieved it soon after. HE LOVES IT!! it is extremely comfortable and supportive and easy to setup move and use. I would reccomend this product to anyone looking for a lift chair.*I do caution on delivery furniture warehouse sent the chair via Dominion Freight Co. they will not deliever into your home so be mindful that you will need at least two men there to bring it into your home due to the size not the weight and it came on a semi truck which i met the driver and put it in the back of my pickup to get it to the door. *

I purchased this chair several years ago when I had a problem arise of pain, lack of strength, and unable to use the lever type chair to recline. It was a hugh assist during that time, and has been so comfortable when I can't sleep in bed, or just can't sleep due to all types of pain, arthritis, muscle tenderness, sprains and etc. I can move me and my discomfort to my chair in another room and not disturb my husband's sleep. When it is fully reclined out, I can get comfortable and get some sleep,then too.My original flare up of pain was attributed to a reaction to prescription.
